Knowledge

27 11 2009

Isn’t knowledge so great? I probably sound like some old woman who has seen everything when I say that, but I tend to be a deep thinker. Why I’m even talking about this is because I had a wonderful experience the other day involving something I thought I’d never use! As you know, I’m French. I was born French. I moved to America before I could speak so English was my first language. French is my second, but I know it as well as the first.  Anyway, I have some relatives that migrated to Montana from France last month. It’s a very big deal because they don’t speak any English. So my aunt–named Catherine–needed help in the supermarket. She called our house when I was the only one home. Speaking fluent French in a quick tone she blurted out that the man didn’t understand. Apparently he hadn’t given her enough change and they had been trying to use hand movements to understand eachother. The man had gotten very angry. Without thinking I hung up the phone and ran to the store. I was able to help the very angry men understand. They didn’t take it that well though. I just translated what Auntie said.

Do you like my new background and header?  You’d think I’d have something all pretty and pink, but no, I like this. Right now I’m feeling very good about myself because I have a nice picture for you. It proves that I’m not 100% slacker on posting pictures! A new girl came. She immediately signed up for newspaper staff which is way lucky for me because I’m the newspaper cheif. Her name is Chrissa Isaake. She’s way nice and she loves adventures. She’s holding something back though. I didn’t know what, but after reading this post (http://amazingags.blogspot.com/2009/11/happy-thanksgiving-birthday-spencer.html sorry I haven’t figured out the link stuff yet.) I figured something weird out. Key Words

“I just moved here from California, where I was attending a special school where I learned special things. What kind of things? You’ll never in your life believe me, but…magic things.”

Magic? I have a hard time believing in it. I’ll admit that. Then there’s this…

“I came to Sunny Day School after hearing the rumors all about it.  This school is supposedly going to open up to magic.”

Ah well. January will come soon, November left VERY quickly I swear! Supposedly January is when the school will annouce the “big change”. Everyone knows about it by now anyway.

Loves and Kisses!
